Far-Western Province Government to Continue Revenue Collection Despite Budget Passage Uncertainty

Kathmandu. Revenue collection will not stop even though the budget for the fiscal year 2083/84 presented by the Sudurpaschim Province Government has not been passed by the Provincial Assembly. The province's Ministry of Economic Affairs today issued a notice stating that revenue collection will continue.

There has been uncertainty as the Economic Bill-2083, presented along with the budget, is also under consideration in the Provincial Assembly and the deadline for its passage expired on Thursday.
