21 injured in bus-tipper collision in Jhapa

Jhapa, June 18: 21 people got injured when a bus and tipper collided at Chulachuli roundabout at Kamal Rural Municipality-4, Jhapa on Tuesday morning.

According to a Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Jhapa, Krishna Kumar Chand, a tipper with a registration number (Ba 3 Kha 2166) heading towards Damak from Jhiljhile and a bus (Ko 1 Kha 5087) heading towards opposite towards collided causing an accident. 21 passengers in the bus sustained injuries, where, 11 were taken to Damak Research Center for treatment, nine were taken to Lifeline Hospital in Damak and one is undergoing treatment at Damak Hospital.
