Department Warns Against Sale of Unlabeled, Counterfeit Footwear

Kathmandu. The Department of Commerce, Supply and Consumer Protection under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply has urged not to sell and distribute footwear (including shoes, sandals, etc.) that are unlabeled, counterfeit, of low quality, or smuggled through physical and digital platforms.

The department has made this request after receiving complaints and grievances through various means.
