Kathmandu. Under the Bagmati Cleanup Mahabhiyan, which has been ongoing for 688 weeks with the slogan 'Two Hours of Volunteering for the Nation', 3.5 metric tons of non-degradable waste have been managed from the Bagmati riverbank below Sinamangal bridge. The Kathmandu Metropolitan City Environment Department managed the 3.5 metric tons of non-degradable waste collected during the cleanup.
Ward Chairman of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 11 Hiralal Tandukar, Ward No. 9 Ward Member Tekraj Adhikari, activists from Rotary Club of Kathmandu Heritage, employees of the Empowered Bagmati Civilization Integrated Development Committee, Bagmati Cleanup Campaign activists, and local residents participated in the cleanup.
