EV Cycle Rider Dies in Tipper Collision on East-West Highway in Butwal

Butwal. An EV cycle rider has died after being hit by a tipper on the highway intersection in Butwal along the East-West Highway. Tarachan Sunar, 60, a resident of Siddharthanagar Municipality-5, Bank Road, Bhairahawa, died in the accident that occurred this afternoon.

The tipper, Lu 2 Kha 3002, coming from Bhairahawa towards Butwal, hit the EV cycle coming in the same direction. Police Inspector Thaman GC of the Area Police Office, Butwal, informed that Sunar, who was seriously injured in the accident, died during treatment.
