Russia Faces Fuel Shortages Amid Ukrainian Attacks

MOSCOW. Returning from Vologda, about 300 miles (480 kilometers) north of Moscow, Russian couple Yelena and Dmitry found a gas station with fuel only after passing four petrol pumps. It is reported that almost all regions except some Russian regions are suffering from fuel shortage.

The latest Ukrainian attacks have disrupted normal life more than the start of the conflict in 2022, as Russian depots have been targeted. This crisis is unprecedented in Russia, one of the world's top oil producers, where fuel was previously easily available and much cheaper than in Europe.
