Weather Forecast: Heavy Rainfall Expected Across Nepal

Kathmandu. Currently, the monsoon trough is affecting the entire country, the Meteorological Forecasting Division has stated. Currently, the monsoon low-pressure line is slightly above average in the west, around the Terai region of Nepal, and around average in the east.

Due to this, most of the country is currently cloudy. Light to moderate rain is occurring in some places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, and in one or two places in Karnali province.
