Deuba Group Announces National Gathering in Kathmandu within Shrawan

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress's former president Sher Bahadur Deuba group has announced to call a national gathering within Shrawan. Speaking at a press conference at the group's contact office in Chunidevi on Sunday, the group's publicity committee coordinator Min Bishwakarma said that a decision has been made to organize a 'National Gathering' in Kathmandu within the month of Shrawan.

The former president Deuba group has formally announced to hold a national gathering at a time when the internal conflict of Congress is escalating. Bishwakarma said that the Deuba faction has decided to call a national gathering to discuss national debate and set a new working direction, accusing the leadership elected through the special general convention of not taking any meaningful initiative for party unity even after seven months and four months after the court's verdict.
