Weather Forecast: Monsoon Influence Across Nepal with Potential for Heavy Rainfall

Kathmandu. Monsoon winds are currently influencing the entire country. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Meteorological Forecasting Division, the monsoon low-pressure line is situated north of its average position.

Currently, most parts of the country are experiencing cloudy skies. Light to moderate rainfall is occurring in some places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, and in a few places in Sudurpashchim Province.
