Rupandehi Records Highest Rainfall in 24 Hours

Kathmandu. The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours has been measured in Sainamaina of Rupandehi. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, 153.2 millimeters of rain has been recorded in that area.

Meteorologist Binita Maharjan of the department informed that in the last 24 hours, heavy to very heavy rainfall occurred in some areas of Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. Relatively less rainfall occurred in Madhesh Province during that period.
