Kolkata High Court Orders Arrest of IPL Cricketer Abhishek Porel in Rape Case

Kolkata. Kolkata High Court has ordered the arrest of IPL cricketer Abhishek Porel in a rape case. The court has directed the police to confiscate Porel's electronic devices to prevent the alleged private pictures and videos from being made public.

Porel, a 23-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman from Bengal, has been accused by a woman of having a physical relationship on the pretext of marriage and recording videos of those private moments. Porel is also accused of threats.
