Flood Forecasting Division Warns of Continued Risk Due to Lake Formation in Bhote Koshi River

Kathmandu. The Flood Forecasting Division has stated that the risk still remains as a lake has formed due to the river being blocked at the location where the flood occurred on Bhadra 10.

According to the Flood Forecasting Division, based on the latest information received through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from China, satellite imagery, and preliminary analysis, the flood occurred because the river was blocked at the location where the flood was created, forming a lake.
