Kathmandu. Nepali Congress leader Krishna Prasad Sitoula has warned Prime Minister Balendra Shah to abandon politics of arrogance and ego. He gave this warning while addressing a gathering organized by the establishment-fringe group of the party in Kathmandu on Wednesday on the occasion of BP Koirala Smriti Day. Leader Sitoula also urged Prime Minister Shah not to engage in politics of walking alone. He said that although arson, vandalism, and looting occurred against Congress during the Gen-Z movement, the incident further strengthened Congress's consciousness and energy. Commenting that various forces within the country weakened Congress in the name of a special general convention, he mentioned that the country needs another political awakening as the heat of last year's Bhadra 24 has not yet subsided.
“Today, remembering BP, I want to tell the Prime Minister as well, do not walk around with too much ego and arrogance,” said leader Sitoula, “I want to say, with BP as a witness, Shashank Koirala has said that he will not let BP’s ideology die. He has kept BP’s ideology alive.”
