Industrialists elated over Kolkata-Biratnagar Cargo Service

Biratnagar, July 22: Industrialists and traders of Biratnagar have expressed confidence that the cargo rail service from Kolkata, India to the integrated check post (ICP) in Biratnagar would help reduce the cost and time of transporting goods imported from third world countries.

They say that bringing raw materials and other goods imported for Nepali industries from India and third world countries by rail will save 35 to 40 per cent in transportation costs compared to road transport.
