Sindhupalchok Records Highest Rainfall in 24 Hours

Kathmandu. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that the highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was measured at 97.2 millimeters in Sindhupalchok.
According to the department, 81.4 millimeters of rain has occurred in Lamabagar, Dolakha. Meteorologist Rojan Lamichhane informed that significant rainfall has occurred mainly in the hilly areas in the last 24 hours, while relatively less rainfall has occurred in the Terai areas of Madhes, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
