NEA to compensate kid who lost both arms due to electric shock

Kathmandu, July 23: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) is to provide Rs 1.571 million as compensation to a child, who lost his both hands when he touched 11 kV electricity transmission line at Tribeni rural municipality-2 of Nawalparasi (Susta East).
The recently held NEA board meeting approved the amount as treatment expenses, compensation. The kid received the electric shock when he touched the transmission line when he was playing at the building of Ama Samuha located at Tribeni rural municipality-2.
