British Airways Pilots Fall Ill Mid-Flight, Plane Lands Safely

New Delhi. Three pilots of a British Airways plane flying from Hyderabad, India to London, UK fell ill mid-flight. Despite the difficult situation, the plane was safely landed at London Heathrow Airport.

According to the Daily Star, during the approximately 10.5-hour flight, about 30,000 feet above sea level, a first officer's health suddenly deteriorated on a Boeing 777 aircraft. His condition became serious, requiring him to be given oxygen. He was in a state where he could not operate the aircraft.
