Flood Victims' Plight: Injuries and Hospitalization Amidst Disaster

Kathmandu. 22-year-old Suruchi Ranamagar, after staying at her home in Betrawati for two-three days, had gone to Kerung Bazaar in Rasuwa with her friends from Kathmandu. Her sister had a hotel there.

While at the hotel in Kerung, she managed to escape a sudden flood. She has an injury to her ear. Her father Ramkumar Ranamagar said, 'While at the hotel in Kerung, my daughter managed to escape a sudden disaster. While fleeing, she was hit by a wave, buried in sand, and rescued by an army helicopter, brought to Kathmandu, and admitted to a hospital ward.'
