Arati Rawal Sent to Jail for Further Proceedings

Arati Rawal has been sent to jail for further proceedings. The Cyber Bureau of police had arrested her on Asar 24 and investigated her. The Kathmandu District Court has ordered her to be sent to jail for further proceedings on the charge under the Electronic Transactions Act 2063.

According to the court's order, Rawal has been sent to prison, Cyber Bureau spokesperson (SP) Dilip Giri told Ratopati. She was arrested on the charge of making abusive and defamatory remarks against a woman through social media.
