China Sends Emergency Relief Materials and Expert Team to Nepal

Kathmandu. The Chinese government has sent emergency relief materials and an expert team to help Nepal, which is suffering huge human and physical damage due to devastating floods and landslides. Two 'Y-20' military aircraft of the Chinese Air Force landed in Kathmandu at 7 this morning.

At a special ceremony organized at the airport, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Mao Ming handed over the relief materials to the Government of Nepal. To receive the materials, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Mahavir Pun and Member of the Federal Parliament Dharma KC, on behalf of the Government of Nepal, reached the airport. During the occasion, they also welcomed the Chinese rescue experts.
