Various highways affected due to landslides and erosion

Kathmandu, July 26: Recent heavy rains have led to significant disruptions on major highways and road sections across the country due to landslides and erosion.

The BP Highway, which connects Kavrepalanchok and Sindhuli, has been closed to night driving, while the Khurkot-Nepalthok-Katunjebensi road section has imposed a vehicle ban from 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM due to flood risks.
