Bangladesh and Maldives Discuss Direct Water Transport to Boost Trade

Male. Bangladesh and Maldives have held talks to start direct water transport to increase bilateral trade and other direct connectivity, local media reported on Monday.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh said in a statement, “Bangladeshi Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman and his Maldivian counterpart Eruthisham Adam discussed this matter in a bilateral meeting held in Male on Sunday.”
