Seven Engineers Face Dismissal for Prolonged Absence

Kathmandu. The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport has started the process of removing seven engineers from service who have been absent from their work areas for a long time after the end of their study and extraordinary leave. The ministry issued a public notice today directing these employees to submit their final clarification within 30 days.
According to the ministry, these employees of the Nepal Engineering Service, Civil Engineering Group (Building and Architecture Sub-group), Ra.Pa. Third Class, did not report to the office even after their leave period ended. Although a notice was issued earlier on Asar 23rd through the Gorkhapatra daily and the ministry's website asking for a clarification within 15 days, the ministry stated that they ignored it or did not provide a satisfactory response.
