Kathmandu. The Public Procurement Monitoring Office has blacklisted about a dozen construction entrepreneurs and suppliers based on the recommendations of various public bodies.
The Public Procurement Monitoring Office, under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, published a notice on Tuesday stating that they have been blacklisted for a period of six months to two years in accordance with Section 63(1) of the Public Procurement Act, 2063. As per the office's decision on Shrawan 11, the blacklisted companies and joint ventures will not be allowed to participate in the procurement process of any public body during the specified period.
