Health Ministry Directs Hospitals to Ensure Uninterrupted Services Amid Attacks on Healthcare Workers

Kathmandu. Following incidents of attacks on doctors and health workers, the Ministry of Health and Food Hygiene has directed all hospitals to ensure that health services are not interrupted under any circumstances. The ministry stated that the process of bringing the perpetrators to justice is ongoing and urged for the continuous operation of treatment services.

A statement issued by Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari, Joint Spokesperson of the Ministry, on Tuesday mentioned that the ministry has taken serious note of the recent incidents of assault and abuse against doctors, health workers, and health institutions. The ministry has stated that the concerned bodies are proceeding with the necessary process to identify the individuals involved in the incidents and bring them under legal action.
