Energy Minister Reshuffles Directors General

Kathmandu. Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Viraj Shrestha has reshuffled the responsibilities of two directors general under the Ministry of Energy. The decision to reshuffle the responsibilities of two directors general was taken at a meeting of the Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation held on Monday. Sagarraj Gautam has been given the responsibility of Director General of the Department of Electricity Development. Gautam was working as a joint secretary in the Ministry of Energy. Manadevi Shrestha, Director General of the department, has been transferred to the ministry. Similarly, Deputy Directors General of the department, Sunil Poudel and Gokarna Rajpant, have been transferred to the ministry.

Similarly, Maheshwor Shrestha, a joint secretary in the ministry, has been given the responsibility of Director General of the Department of Water Resources and Irrigation. Mitra Baral was the Director General of the Department of Irrigation.
