US and Saudi Arabia Launch Joint Air Strikes on Iraqi Bases

Baghdad. On Wednesday morning, Iran-backed Iraqi armed group Popular Mobilization Forces said that the United States and Saudi Arabia had launched joint air strikes on various military bases. According to a statement issued by the Popular Mobilization Forces, initial reports indicate that many people were killed and injured in the attack, and some buildings were also damaged. However, the exact number of dead and injured has not been made public.

The group strongly condemned the attack as a serious violation of Iraq's sovereignty and an attack on the country's official security forces. On the other hand, the US military and the Saudi Arabian military have confirmed that joint attacks were carried out on Iran-backed armed groups in Iraq. According to them, this military action was taken in response to attacks on US soldiers and Saudi Arabia's oil infrastructure.
