Doctors' Association Continues Nationwide Strike, Halting Non-Emergency Services

Kathmandu. The Nepal Medical Association has, for the second day on Wednesday, shut down all health services except emergency services in government and private hospitals across the country.

The association has continued its protest, citing the government's indifference in bringing to legal justice the culprits involved in the heinous attack on doctors and health workers at Narayani Hospital in Birgunj, Parsa, and the vandalism within the hospital premises.
