Kathmandu. CPN UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has raised questions about the government not holding an all-party meeting regarding the incidents that occurred, including in Sunsari.
Speaking to journalists after the all-party meeting called by the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) at Singha Durbar on Wednesday, he questioned the government's irresponsible behavior. 'The all-party meeting should have been organized by itself. Perhaps because the government and the Prime Minister did not take the initiative, the party president may have called the meeting. We have taken this positively. Controlling riots cannot be done by using force alone. Such sad incidents happen when the morale of the security bodies is low. We need to provide resources and means to the security bodies. We need to do work that boosts their morale,' Pokharel said.
