All-Party Meeting Calls for Local Peace Committees

Kathmandu. An all-party meeting called by Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane on Wednesday has directed the formation and convening of all-party and all-stakeholder committees at the provincial, district, and local levels to establish an environment of peace, harmony, and trust in society.

The all-party joint statement and appeal issued on Wednesday mentioned that efforts at the central level alone are not sufficient, urging committees at various levels of all political parties to expand dialogue to the lower levels and build an environment of trust among citizens.
