Nepal's Parliament Debates Central Bank Act Amendment Bill

Kathmandu. The Nepal Rastra Bank Act amendment bill is currently under consideration in Parliament. Various amendments have been proposed to the bill, which is being discussed in the Finance Committee under the House of Representatives. Discussions are also ongoing regarding the proposed amendments.

There are various issues in the amendment of the Rastra Bank Act. The bill, registered in Parliament at the proposal of the Ministry of Finance, has caused a disagreement between the central bank and the government.
