Police Arrest Man for Hundi Business in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. Police have arrested Rajendra Prasad Rizal, originally from Sathyadevi, Dhading, but residing in Kathmandu, on suspicion of involvement in Hundi business. He was arrested on Tuesday from the Radhakrishna Temple area in Nagarjun Municipality-8, CID SP Anupam Shamsher Jabra told Ratopati.

Police investigation concludes that the accused, in collusion with others, conducted Hundi transactions worth 1 Arba 89 Crore 65 Lakh using his personal account. Kathmandu District Court had issued an arrest warrant against him. SP Jabra informed that Rizal is being investigated for the offense of not conducting Hundi business.
