Investigation Committee Reaches Devanaganj Following Clash

Kathmandu. The committee formed to investigate the clash between two communities in Kapantaganj, Ward No.-3 of Devanaganj Rural Municipality in Sunsari, has reached the scene. A team led by Home Ministry Joint Secretary Bhupendra Thapa has reached the scene. The committee includes 5 members including SPs from Police and Armed Police.

The committee members also met with the family of 30-year-old Omprakash Mehta, who died from security personnel's bullet during the control of the clash that occurred on Sunday. Joint Secretary Thapa said that a report with suggestions, incorporating inputs from all sides, will be submitted to the Home Ministry.
