X Claims Australia's Social Media Ban Undermines International Law

Kathmandu. Social media platform X, owned by American billionaire businessman Elon Musk, has accused Australia's plan to strictly enforce a ban on social media for children under 16 of undermining international legal principles and US law.

Australia became the first in the world to implement a law banning children under 16 from opening social media accounts, which came into effect in December. Most American technology companies have been criticizing this law since it was implemented.
