Doctors and Health Ministry Officials Begin Informal Talks

Kathmandu. Informal talks have begun between protesting doctors and officials of the Ministry of Health and Food Hygiene. Informal discussions are being held at the Ministry of Health regarding the demands of the Doctors' Association.

Ministry of Health Joint Spokesperson Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari said that informal discussions were held based on the demands of the association. He said that discussions would be held formally after this. Discussions were held at the ministry between the two sides with demands for reliable guarantees of doctors' safety and punishment for the guilty.
