Journalist Arrested for Broadcasting News Affecting Investigation

Biratnagar. A journalist has been arrested by the police on charges of broadcasting news that affects the investigation work.

A minor girl was gang-raped in Sunbarsahi Municipality of Morang. Chandan Kumar Paswan, who claims to be a journalist through the online media 'Koshi Aawaj' and social media Facebook, broadcast a video news revealing the real identity of the victim girl's family members regarding the incident. The police arrested Paswan on July 13 based on a complaint filed by the victim's relatives.
