Man Arrested for VoIP Call Bypassing in Bhairahawa

Bhairahawa. A person has been arrested in the Belhiya Buspark area of Ward No. 1, Siddharthanagar Municipality, Rupandehi, for bypassing Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) calls. The police took him under control on Wednesday evening after a long period of surveillance.

A joint police team from the District Police Office, Rupandehi, and the Area Police Office, Belhiya, searched a room on the second floor of New Mukti Hotel and Restaurant and found the illegal activity taking place. The arrested individual has been identified as Chhiring Gurung, approximately 62 years old, residing in Ward No. 4, Chumanubri Rural Municipality, Gorkha. He was staying in a rented room at the hotel.
