34 Miners Die in Balochistan Coal Mine Methane Gas Explosion

Islamabad. At least 34 mine workers have died in a methane gas explosion in a coal mine in the Balochistan province of southern Pakistan. The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) confirmed the deaths on Friday morning, stating that a joint rescue operation is continuously ongoing as some workers are still missing.

According to officials, a powerful explosion occurred due to methane gas in a coal mine near Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, on Thursday. The explosion caused significant damage inside the mine, and the rescue team conducted search and rescue operations throughout the night.
