Security Alert in Madhesh Districts Amidst Spreading Protests

Kathmandu. Following the spread of protests that began in Sunsari to the districts of Madhesh, high security alert has been adopted there. A high official from the Home Ministry told Ratopati that two AIGs overseeing the operations departments of police and armed police have been sent to Janakpur.

AIG Ganesh Thadamagar of the Armed Police Force and Himalaya Shrestha of Nepal Police have been sent to Janakpur. Both have already reached Janakpur. High security alert has been adopted from Saptari to Parsa in the Madhesh Province.
