Biratnagar. Koshi Province government has brought 9 budgets so far, but it is seen that more investment has been made in non-productive sectors like monasteries, temples, gompas, churches, and ethnic organizations than in productive sectors like agriculture, industry, and employment.
Instead of setting a concrete basis for provincial development through the budget, billions of rupees have been scattered in petty and religious-cultural plans. Will this lead to the economic prosperity of the province? Why could the government not prioritize the productive sector? What are the structural problems seen in budget preparation?
