Former NC General Secretary Dr. Shashanka Koirala Appeals for Calm Amidst Tensions

Kathmandu. Former General Secretary of Nepali Congress, Dr. Shashanka Koirala, expressing concern over the critical and tense situation spread in various Terai-Madhes districts including Sunsari, has appealed to all Nepali citizens to maintain restraint, religious tolerance, mutual goodwill, and cordiality during this critical period related to religious and communal sensitivities.

Issuing a statement on Friday, he stated that Nepal is a country rich in various castes, languages, religions, cultures, and traditions, and it is our duty to maintain religious harmony, social unity, and national tolerance by respecting various religions, cultures, and traditions in Nepali society.
