Father of School Shooter Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison

California. In the US state of Georgia, the court has sentenced Colt Gray, the accused in the 2024 school shooting, to 15 years in prison. This verdict is considered a new precedent regarding the legal responsibility of parents in mass shooting incidents.

Announcing the verdict, Judge Nicholas Prim stated that Colin Gray did not directly fire the gun, did not plan the attack, and did not have definite knowledge that his son would carry out such an attack at school. However, the court concluded that his negligence contributed to the incident.
