According to Mingma David, who is also a Member of Parliament and his business partner, the latest GPS signal sent by the Garmin satellite tracking device confirmed that Purja is stable at an altitude of 5,878.67 meters above sea level. According to the technical details received, the geographical location of climber Purja was shown in the satellite message updated at 06:18 AM Nepali time. According to the GPS data, Purja's movement speed is zero, indicating that they are resting at that location, stuck, or unable to move forward due to adverse conditions and are stuck in one place. Furthermore, the battery status of the satellite tracking device shows 'Low', which increases the risk of not receiving GPS locations continuously in the future. Nirmal Purja's team, which has set a world record by rapidly ascending all 14 mountains above eight thousand meters in the world, went out of contact due to a sudden avalanche on Broad Peak. The location shown by the GPS tracking's latitude and longitude falls in the upper region of the base camp of Pakistan's Broad Peak and K2.
