Curfew Imposed in Madhesh Districts Following Captainganj Incident

Janakpurdham. Following protests against the incident in Captainganj, Dewangunj Rural Municipality-3, Sunsari, the local administration has imposed a curfew. After the curfew, some districts of Madhesh appear calm.

Following protests against the Captainganj incident, a curfew order has been issued in Janakpurdham area and various areas of Rajbiraj Municipality, the headquarters of Saptari, on Friday as well. Due to the curfew, markets and shops are closed, and the roads appear deserted. A large number of security personnel have been deployed in these places keeping security in mind.
