Police Headquarters Urges Calm Amidst Unrest in Sunsari and Madhesh

Kathmandu. Police Headquarters has urged not to spread rumors about the demonstration that started in Sunsari and the subsequent sensitive situation. Police Spokesperson (DIG) Abinarayan Kafle said that everyone needs to show restraint and maturity to normalize the peace and security situation. Issuing a video message on Friday, he urged not to spread rumors about the activities happening in Sunsari and Madhesh.

He said, "We urge everyone to stay away from rumor-mongering and activities that spread social disharmony and to play a responsible role from their respective places."
