Nepali Welfare Committee, Howrah Celebrates 213th Adikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya Jayanti in Kolkata

Kathmandu. Nepali Welfare Committee, Howrah has celebrated this year's 213th Adikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya Jayanti in Kolkata, India. The ceremony held at Howrah Maidan in West Bengal state also included poetry recitation, release of the committee's annual literary magazine 'Bihani's Bhanujayanti Special Issue-2026, honoring distinguished personalities, and a Nepali-Bengali cultural program.

On the occasion, litterateur/journalist Shyam Rimal (Kathmandu), Lila Anmol (Jhapa), and Ran Kafle (Assam, India) recited poems written on the themes of migration and Kolkata.
