Prime Minister Balen Shah Becomes Politically Active Amidst Communal Conflict

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balendra (Balen) Shah, who was accused of not being able to step out of the Singha Durbar premises for four months after the government was formed, has suddenly shown political activity since Thursday.

Balen had not met the President separately since becoming Prime Minister. He remained limited to the daily operations of the government and did not participate in public programs except for an army event. Apart from discussions with a few representative businessmen to gain the trust of the private sector, he has not given importance to political meetings.
