Monsoon Influence Across Nepal: Forecast of Rain and Thunderstorms

Kathmandu. Currently, the monsoon wind's influence is present across the country, the Meteorological Forecasting Division has stated. The monsoon low-pressure line is currently south of the average position in the west and around the average position in the east.

Due to this influence, Lumbini Province's Terai region has partly cloudy skies, while the rest of the region has generally cloudy skies. Light to moderate rain is occurring in some places in Bagmati Province and in one or two places in Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces.
