Government Prepares to Amend Passport Act for Diplomatic and Special Passports

Kathmandu. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is preparing to amend the Passport Act, 2076, to make the process of issuing diplomatic and special passports federal-friendly.

The bill submitted to the parliament has further clarified and systematized the definition of diplomatic and special passports by amending Sections 6 and 7 of the Act.
