Japan Earthquake Death Toll Reaches 36 in Kumamoto, Over 9,200 Displaced

Tokiyo. The death toll from a powerful earthquake in Japan's Kumamoto Prefecture has reached 36, with more than 9,200 residents still staying in safe shelters.

At a meeting of the Kumamoto Prefectural Government's Disaster Management Headquarters on Saturday, officials informed that the death toll was 36 and the condition of 6 people was critical.
